MK CEO is run by a small editorial team of software buyers, not sellers. We've founded and worked at small businesses ourselves — so we know what it's like to evaluate tools on a real budget with real constraints.
We're based in Beijing, China, and our content is published in English for a global audience of small business owners.
How We Review Tools
Every comparison on MK CEO follows a consistent methodology:
- Sign up and test — We create accounts and use each tool for real business tasks. Whenever possible, we use free trials or free tiers to evaluate hands-on.
- Research pricing — We verify current pricing directly from each vendor's website. All prices are accurate as of the publication date.
- Evaluate across dimensions — We score each tool on pricing, features, ease of use, customer support, and value for money relative to small business needs.
- Write an opinionated verdict — No "it depends." We tell you exactly who each tool is for — and who it's not for.
We don't accept payment for positive reviews. We don't let vendors review or approve our content before publication. If we find a tool is overpriced or overhyped, we say so.
